Treating the Scars with Scar Reduction Products
We all aspire to have a healthy, radiant and youthful skin. Are you also looking out for specific products to reduce those ugly scars and improve your looks? Thanks to the advancement in technology and research in cosmetics, you have various scar treatment products that actually work. Be it the acne scars or keloid or hypertrophic scars; these products help in reducing their appearing to an extent that they are almost invisible.
Most of products could be quite expensive owing to the ingredients present in them. Hence, it’s advisable that you carry out a bit of good online research on the products before purchasing them. Though creams have been largely popular among the people seeking scar reduction, the results are often not as good as expected. The latest and effective product that is gaining popularity and has proven formula for reduction of scars is the gel. Being water based, the gel is absorbed by the skin easily and thus penetrates deep into the subcutaneous layers of the skin.
While on the other hand, scar treatment products like scar cream pass through the epidermal layer of the skin in order to heal the tissue damages from within the skin. However, the effect of gel is extensive than the cream. This clinically tested product induces growth of cells which result in overall reduction of the scar. Apart from bettering the visual aspect of the scars, this product works on diminishing stretch marks. This product also helps to reduce the brown spots on the skin which signify the beginning of aging.
Several other products on scar reduction like Scar gels and Scar Fx use silicone for extensive treatment of scars. Though Silicone is known to be very effective in treating scars, it is not very easy to use silicone on face and joints. The non sticky scar gel addresses this drawback, as it combines liquid silicone with other ingredients of scar treatment like vitamin C, squalene and emu oil to help you use them on facial scars and stretch marks. Usage of a combination of scar crme and silicon sheeting has shown improvement in scars by 82%!

Question from Slagathor!: About breast reductions?
Recently, I have learned that, properly sized, I’m a 32 DDD/E, and I’m only thirteen.
My mother is naturally large breasted, but adopted so I can’t look further back.
However, I’ve been thinking about getting a breast reduction when I turn eighteen, possibly wait a little longer.
Can anyone tell me some pros/cons of the surgery or about the scars, and also the cost of an average breast reduction?
I’ve done some research via Google, but so far all it’s lead me too it doctors reputations and “natural breasts reductions”
Yes, I understand I can achieve a smaller cup size by possibly losing weight. However, like my mother’s breasts, it’s mostly tissue/glads as opposed to fat, and I honestly don’t think that losing a bit of weight is going to shrink me down to a C or D cup.
Please don’t give me that “Keep them, big is good!” stuff. It isn’t helpful in the slightest.

Breast reductions are healthier than implants, but they still cost a lot of money. If it’s causing medical problems, I’d wait until you were about 23. Your breasts could be evening out when you’re older and fit your body. If it’s still a problem, then go for it. For now, try to wear a supportive bra and possibly a sports bra over it. Good luck!

One of my best friends had a breast reduction at 16. She was a 36H and she is SO happy that she did it. She’s now 23. We’ve talked a lot about it and here’s HER pros and cons:
Pros:
-Better fitting clothes
-No back pain
-More confidence
-Easier to dance and run
-Less harassment from guys
-Covered by insurance
-Perkier, better shaped, non saggy breasts
Cons:
-Recovery time
-Small scars that can be irritated by wire on bras
-Since she got it at 16, her breasts still grew a little
Well, that’s her experience. Everyone is different, so your experience could be opposite from hers. But like I said, she’s still very happy that she did it, and she would do it again in an instant. The best thing is to have a consultation with a doctor. If your breasts are large enough, and you have insurance, they will cover it. At the time that you decide do to it (when you’re older) if your insurance approves it, then I say, why not? Because if insurance agrees that it is needed, then it probably is. They wouldn’t cover something that isn’t medically necessary.
