Get rid of scars with scar gels and scar creams

A scars cream or scar gel is meant to improve the appearance of the skin by making it scar-free. These scars may be caused due to surgery, injury, acne, laser resurfacing et al. These scars are unseemly and mar the appearance of otherwise healthy and beautiful skin. This is the reason that people having scars try every method possible to reduce the scars and restore the natural appearance of the skin. There are many scar treatment products available in the market, which claim to reduce the appearance of scars. These products often contain ingredients like onion extracts, vitamin E oil, cucumber butter, cocoa butter, lime juice Aloe Vera etc. Some of them even contain technologically advanced actives like skin remodelling peptides. However, none of these ingredients are proven to diminish the appearance of scars.

The only products known to significantly treat scars are silicone based scars cream and scar gel. These products are effective on all scars including hypertrophic and Keloid scars. The scar cream formula is such that it penetrates deep into the subcutaneous layer of the skin and heals the scar tissue from inside. A scar cream is most effective when used with silicone based gel or silicone sheeting. When used in such a combination, it reduces the appearance of scars by almost 82%! A scar cream contains many natural ingredients along with silicone. In this way, it improves the overall health and appearance of the skin, apart from diminishing the scar.

A scars cream can create a problem for oily skin, in which case, a scar gel is the best alternative. A gel meant for the treatment of scars contains liquid silicone in the form of Dimethicone Crosspolymer and Cyclomethicone. Apart from this, it contains other skin treatment ingredients like Vitamin C, Emu oil, Squalene etc. This gel is especially useful on those anatomical surfaces, like the face and joints where silicone sheeting may be cumbersome to use. It is non sticky and forms an occlusive covering on the scar. It is particularly useful for the treatment of acne scars and stretch marks. Both scar cream and gel are useful in the lightening of brown ageing spots.

Question from shoelace: how do i get rid of scars??
I have scars from bad experiences that i really want to forget, but I’m always hiding them because if anyone at my school saw I’d be labeled a freak. I’ve been using some general over-the-counter “scar cream” from the local CVS, and it’s been working slowly, but is there and why i can get rid of them faster? Is there a prescription cream I should ask for from my doctor? Please help, I’m tired of awkward questions I don’t know how to answer!

okay, heres what i did: i almoast cut my hand off about a year ago with a kitchen knife (honestly, WAS an accident!) but it left me with a huge, incriminating scar. i didnt want people to label me “freak” either, so i asked my doctor. he said eat lots of potassium (potassium helps build new skin cells with will speed up the fading of your scars) and get some vitamin E oil. you can take it and rub it into the affected area and it helps soften the skin which makes it go away. my scar is still there, but its a lot smaller and faded. i hope one day it will be gone altogether! good luck.

Scars DO NOT go away. Only TIME with FADE them!

This is a simple, safe treatment that has given fast, remarkable results for scars. Use olive or any natural oil (lavender oil is best for acne prone/oily skin as is used in curing acne/oily skin). You rub them over and over many times(try to do for 30 min or more daily – not necessarily all at once) and they will start to fade in a few days. Depending on how long you have rubbed them in a few weeks they will have faded much more. You will be amazed at it´s effectiveness. It completely got rid of my severe scars from childhood accidents.
