Ways to Treat Burn Scars ? The Scar Solution For Treating Just any Sort Of Scaring

Almost every one of us has had some kind of burns. We love to go near hot objects. I mean when we are cooking or barbecuing. It is very likely what we must have incurred some kind of burn in our lives, which has turned into an ugly scar. So how to get rid of burn scars completely? Is there any way to make this type of scars disappear completely so we have a smooth skin as if nothing really happened there before?

The answer to the above question is yes, you can treat your scars. However, you can’t really get rid of a scar completely; you can fade it as much as possible and make it unnoticeable. If it burns really bad, i use Burt’s bees doctor burt’s res-Q-ointment that helps relieve burns and bruises. You can also put vitamin e oil on it at night and it should, over time, become less noticeable

Mederma works really well for scars. Use that while it’s healing and it should be gone or less noticeable. Cocoa butter works well too. You can also use Vitamin E Ointment. That’s what most people use for their burn or acne scars. It is working pretty well. You can also go to a drug store to get a scar medication, which I doubt if it would work. It works on some people and do not work on others.

Question from incomingfire: Small scar like tissue on Penis?

After some vigorous activity down below, I noticed a small crack in the skin just below my penis head. Like I had cased a friction burn.

This sore developed into a very painful, single “ulcer” and took about 5 weeks to heal over.

Now it has left behind a small, soft “cauliflower” like growth that is raised by about 1mm. It doesn’t hurt, it isn’t getting any bigger or smaller. It is also skin coloured.

It is very slightly sensitive to touch, only very very slightly and can bleed lightly if I pick at it enough. It’s been there about 2-3months and is very soft and fleshy.

It is too soft to be a wart (I’m guessing) and Herpes does not leave scarring, so i’m not sure what this is. Perhaps I just got a random ulcer that just left a petruding scar, simple as that. But I’m not sure, I just wanted some anonymous opinion before I visit the doctors.

–Additional Notes–

I had a swollen & painful lymph gland in my groin as this started, I also had a raised lymph channel from my groin through to the penis shaft, although this seems to have subsided. There was also a mild redness on my scrotum for about 2 weeks, again this was mild and has passed.

“Scar” is about 4mm long by 2mm wide, raised by about 1mm.

Please give sensible answers, not “see a doc”. Because I most probably will anyway. HELP!

I am not circumcised, I would really like to know what the fleshy tissue left over is?

Was this “vigorous activity” solo or with a partner? If you were with someone else, I would see a doctor. Good luck!

If you developed swollen lymph nodes because of this;there must have been an infection. So you need to see a Dr anyway:but as you said you are going to do that;very sensible,

Think myself that nothing serious is going on though

It is very likely (and I would like your confirmation) that you are circumcised. Men subjected to this unfortunate procedure are often susceptible to scarring problems and ulcerations along or near the circumcision scar. This kind of problem can contiue for most of your life, and is another reason to be sure that you never allow anyone you care for to be mutilated in this way.

Treatment, if it is what I think, is fairly simple. You need to use an antiseptic type of cream (not really sensible to advise on a brand name because I dont know where you live and what you can buy there) that will both soothe and heal the wound. Keep this up, with minimal sexual activity, for a week or so and the ulceration should have gone.

If, however, you have a secondary infection (viz lymph gland swelling, etc.) then you will have no choice but to visit your health care practitioner and get some antibiotics. If you have been sexually active with other parties, then you may need to revise you thinking about possible STD’s. Herpes is not the only disease you can get from casual sex.

It’s just a scar, nothing to worry about. You got it from the “crack” you noticed originally healing. It won’t ever go away, but it’s not an STD. In the future you should be a little less aggressive and use adequate lubrication.

Answer by trebla_5
Is the “scar” under your foreskin and on your glans (penis head)?

It could just be a result of friction burn, as you mentioned. But the way it’s described, along with the swollen lymph nodes, it probably sounds like an STD or something (at the very least, some kind of infection in the area). Did you have unprotected sex 1-2 weeks before it appeared?

It’s pretty much impossible for anyone to diagnose this here without a picture and without a full history. So it’s good that you’re going to go see a doctor anyhow, because you really should.
