Question from crunk_kitty_4: Does the Palmer’s Stretch Mark Message Cream work?
I just got the “Message Cream for Stretch Marks” Cocoa Butter Formula from Palmer’s. It says it helps improve appearance of stretch marks. Does it work? How long will I start seeing a difference? PLEASE COMMENT ONLY IF YOU USE THIS PRODUCT OR USED THIS PRODUCT!

Nope, not really. I’ve used all sorts of Stretch Mark creams, including Palmers, and generally I’ve found none really works that well. The only product I’ve found that makes a difference on existing stretch marks is Bio Oil. It faded the appearance in a noticeable way, but not completely. You’ll never get rid of stretch marks. Once they’re there, you’ve just got to learn to live with them. Sorry if that’s not what you want to hear.

I would much prefer Trilastin. This cream here is effective since a friend of mine have some troubles on her stretch marks after giving birth. This has some needed elements such as: Soy protein, Collagen, High potency elastin. These unique structural protein complex elements are needed for skin to be able to deal with stretch marks since it is made up of 100% amino acids.
Some expensive ones too is effective such as:
Laser Surgery, is available depending on the whether the stretch mark is old or new; there are also some laser treatments that are less damaging to the surrounding tissue than others.
Microdermabrasion, involves firing tiny crystals at your skin and this will remove the outer layer of skins and hopefully stimulate new growth.
But these ones need consultation and are greatly expensive varies to the doctor’s view.
Other home remedies are:
Cocoa butter, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, Glycolic acid, Shea butter, and Retinyl Palmitate.
Hope I made a contribution here.
Regards,
Serge
